I am a Reliance Jio Prime user with telephone number 9971166748
Was on International roaming from Jan 1 2018 to April 29, 2018, again from June 25 to Nov 17, 2018. Again from January 5, 2019 till date. On February 13, 2019, International roaming service was abruptly withdrawn without due notice of six months; for business dealings best known between Reliance and Maldives partner of Reliance. There are other service providers in Maldives which Reliance could have alternately provided but customer service is not in Reliance code of practice. Reliance has been charging me money for all the months of International roaming without providing any service, instead services used outside Bharat were charged for heavily over and above post paid monthly subscription for Jio Prime.
My requests to Consumer Department of GOI
- That I be allowed to migrate to another service provider from Maldives using the eSIM card of Airtel or Vodafone. I posses a iPhone XS Max. Reliance now states that I have to make this request only through SMS a service switched off for me in Maldives by Reliance Jio.
- That I be allowed to utilise services of Airtel/Vodafone for another four months when I will establish my credentials through Aadhar card and or Passport. I will establish my credentials through Indian High Commission in Maldives for the selected alternate service provider. I have to retain my number since my bank accounts and other identities are verified through this number only.
3. That Reliance be fined Rs 100 crore for duping customers
4. And I be paid a compensation of Rs 50,000 for the inconvenience caused to me by Reliance Jio.
