Text of Complaint by Skhembor Kyndiah:

I did my post paid mobile connection sometime in August 2020 (two sim cards) with the objective of using it for online classes. After activation, I found the internet was extremely poor. So I went to airtel office, in police bazaar, Shillong, Meghalaya to get them disconnected within one month. The reply that I got was I can neither disconnect nor change to prepaid plan for a period of six month. So I had to pay the monthly bill of around Rs 900/- per month. I am just wondering, if that type of rule is there for the costumers, and why? I have difficulty in paying the bill which is for something useless for me. I had to connect a fibre broadband connection which is the same amount paid per month as my useless airtel connection. So, I need to disconnect them both.
