I had purchased a whirlpool 313 litre fridge around three years ago. The fridge came with a 10 year warranty.
Since Aug 2022, the fridge started having problems of not cooling. The whirlpool technicians tried to repair it. In the span of one month, it came up with cooling issues again and again. The gas was refilled, the compressor changed. It worked well between these episodes for about 10 days maybe.
The compressor (still under warranty was replaced) and again after 10 days the cooling stopped. We were informed it is a capillary issue and that the refrigerator stir needed to be replaced.
Whirlpool offered a bail out meaning they would replace the fridge and we would have to pay a difference amount. We agreed. This was around the 22nd of September 2022.
We followed up repeated alt and even escalated matters to the Whirlpool Head of Sales and CEO for escalations. They responded that they would look into it. But nothing happened.
It now over a month and we are yet to receive even a call from whirlpool.
