Text of Complaint by Cindy Leonelli:

Bought this refrigerator from our power company last year. It stopped cooling one month before the warranty expired. It ruined about $200 worth of food. It took over a week to get a service date lined up. Then it took 2 weeks before they came out. They said it needed parts and they should be in in a couple of weeks. After 2 weeks no one called so we called whirlpool back. They called the service people and their distributor
still didn’t have the parts. So whirlpool ordered the parts and told us it would be 7 to 10 days before the parts would be in. We still don’t know when we will have our refrigerator working again. So far we’ve been without a refrigerator well over a month. I can’t believe that an appliance still under warranty would take this long to get fixed. We had to buy a separate chest freezer to keep from losing everything we had. I would like to return this refrigerator and get at least some of my money back on it. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever had in my life.
