I bought a jeep wrangler from WeSellCars now Webuycars and it was financed by Wesbank in Oct 2017, and it rained some few weeks after, I discovered the roof leaks. I went to the dealership they checked the car via their service provider who referred me to jeep approved service providers. The dealership sent me to American SUV who discovered that the car was structurally damaged because it was involved in a serious accident. The dealership promised to replace the car and I went to test drive the replacement car, but they later sold the car without my knowledge. Wesbank advised me to go to Miosa. Miosa sided with the dealership and the bank advised me to refer it to NCC. And I’m still waiting for their response, they even lost track of my case at some point. Surprisingly someone from NCC wanted to convince me that Miosa’s decision should prevail, but I argued that Miosa was biased and NCC should arrive at an independent decision based on their investigations which started in 2019 to date. I believe I paid the car off in its condition because they let me down in all the options they had. I have been paying the instalments until 2021, and I cannot continue paying for a faulty car because they misrepresented me, the bank is aware of the mater from day one they said they cant intervene with the dealership because they have business relations with the dealership so I am on my own. They want me to continue paying regardless of the dispute. After exhausting all the options they made available, I requested that the car should be re-evaluated to establish the actual price of the car because the other options unduly benefit the dealership. The bank confirmed that the vehicle can be re-evaluated to establish the most accurate value. I maintain that this case is misrepresentation, as a result the contract was null and void. Kindly help, I am not prepared to hand over the car because they will continue doing this to other consumers and I will get nothing. All these years I have been driving a leaking vehicle.
