Text of Complaint by Ritu Kumari:

I received voltage 1.5 ton window AC from Flipkart on 21 March 22 (around this date). It was working fine that summer. We called for free maintenance on 12 th April’22. The service guy washed the AC, but left it on open space as we wanted fit this AC at another location. We shifted to new place and fitted our AC just to find out AC is not cooling. On 1st April’22 I reached to voltage but got no response. Again filed another complaint on 6th of April’22. One of technicians visited and quoted us 2500 rs to repair the gas leakage. I asked them how can the gas leak in 12 months only? And requested to make it free of cost repair because I just missed warranty period time by few days. If I had used the AC earlier this season, I might faced the same issue, but that would have covered the warranty time. But, my request was denied and I asked to pay 2500 inr for another technician who will open the AC, check the reason for the leakage, repair it, and fill the gas. The technician told me that the coil is badly corroded and a hole in the coil has led to gas leakage. He inquiries if I kept AC near water. I told him that AC was never kept near to an area where water accumulates. I asked him how AC coil corroded just in one season unless it was an old and defective AC. He had no reason. Unable to understand any actual reason, I paid 2500 for repair. AC worked fine for 6 days and again my AC is not cooling. To my understanding repairing leak just at one place will not solve the issue permanently as the coil is damage another hole may soon develop. I feel cheated as Il have now pay hefty amount everytime to get this repaired. Voltage is selling low quality AC online who loot people in the name of repair cost.
