Vodafone Idea(VI) people are making fake calls since I applied for mobile number portability(MNP) and misleading with false . They call and introduce themselves as from Reliance Jio Customer activation department and asking to send cancel request to 1900 UPC immediately for activation. They also sent me a text message ‘CANCEL 9886223132’and asked to forward to 1900. which would result in cancellation port. Its a corrupt process followed VI to avoid customer leaving from their network. When I confronted VI professionals, they called again from other contact number and starting harassing. I told them not to call again and blocked them. Others who are trying MNP to different network may also have similar issue and that’s the reason I am raising complaint so that VI stop this corrupt practices.
