Vodefone Idea started new rule that regular prepaid user who had talktime top-up won’t support outgoing smses. Our existing balance which was eligible has only talktime facility now. We CANNOT SEND SMS. They need us to pay 128/- every 28 days even if we want to send one sms. These are backward and illegal practice established openly . UPI transcation activation need just one sms and we have to pay so much ??what about our existing account balance that they have suddenly ignored and decided to allot only talktime and remove sms facility ! They are cheating user who had balance and they are making one sms cost 128/- and it’ll expiry within 28 days. One sms ?!! Especially now people use whatsapp etc, so they are abusing customers hard earned money.

Hello Today i faced the same issue , i am really frustrated as its impossvle to maintai 2 sims now a days. Its stupid if i recharge my vodafone number it should be valid service validity for my idea sim as well. So now i have to recharge multiple times for dum reasons for upi reasons .Its arip off they should be sued to stop this issue . By ripping of people its really frustrating for a middle class family. Im gonna just port my number now though cus f them
