Sir, I tried to get Vodafone-Idea’s prepaid annual recharge of Rs 1799 done on my mother’s phone number (9336862947) on August 13th, 2022. The recharge failed and my mother’s phone got no services. Money was not credited back into my account despite repeated follow-ups with Vodafone-Idea. They kept saying the money would come back in 3 to 7 working days, BUT it has been over 3 weeks now!
Vi is also continuously lying and trying to gaslight me. They first said that the problem was for the third-party app GPay that I had used for payment. I spoke to GPay and they shared proof that the money was successfully sent to Vi. They shared the UPI transaction ID also.
After 10 days, Vi said that my bank (ICICI bank) had declined the transaction. I contacted ICICI bank also. They have shared the RRN number of the successful transaction of Rs 1799 to Vodafone’s account XXXXXXXXXX0007. The RRN number is 222500325611.
Please help me get back my hard-earned money from these cheats Vodafone-Idea. I am suffering a lot, mentally, due to their continued attempts to not credit back the amount. I am feeling very depressed and dejected.
