Vodafone idea has stooped very low.
I have been raising complaints regarding poor network since 4 months, but my issue was never resolved. Finally yesterday, I visited airtel store and submitted the request for mobile number portability from vi to airtel. Since the moment I submitted my request at airtel, I have received 100 calls from Vodafone. Each time requesting me to cancel the request. During one of the similar calls, the Vodafone store executive told me that first they have to convert my postpaid number to prepaid. Only after that they can proceed with the porting request. He asked me to send few messages to specific numbers. I even confirmed from him that it will not affect my porting request, to which he ensured me that these messages are only for postpaid to prepaid conversion. So I sent those messages and within few minutes I was informed by airtel that my porting request is cancelled. So basically I have been cheated by ViCustomerCare. They are using such fraudulent practices with their customers. I even have recording of the call. Now I am going to file a police complaint against these guys. This is really shocking.
