Text of Complaint by Naseef ABDUL LATHEEF:

Hi Sir,
This is writing with utmost disappointment.

My name is Naseef Abdul Latheef and i am from Kerala. I have been
using a Vodafone connection for 10 years.

Recently during the covid’19 scenario, i was having my job to be done
from my home. Since, their was a great network issue for using
internet, i registered a complaint in regards to my network issue,
within few days one of the technician came and checked. He told that
he could fine some issues in my spot and assured that he will rectify
at the earliest, but that didn’t happen.

I was not even able to join any online meeting  and so i thought of
changing my postpaid connection to prepaid connection and to use any
other network which provide more stability to the internet usage. I
went to Vodafone store in Calicut on June 3rd 2020 and requested to
transfer the connection. The next immediate day i go a call from
Vodafone enquiring the reason of changing the plan, I said the reason
of getting high bill and network issues. Then they suggested me to
change the plan to 249 with 10GB extra. Then i thought ok, i will
withstand the same postpaid connection and later once the network
issue is solved will change the plan. And gave consent to change the
plan. Then the executive told that the bill generated in this month
i.e. 22nd June will be on a pro-rata basis and will be with 249
immediately next month.

When the bill came on June 22, I was shocked, they didn’t change the
plan. Immediately when I noticed it, I called the customer care and
informed them. They said that they will register a complaint and will
resolve it at the earliest. Though the complaint was not resolved, I
paid that month’s bill since there was a precall announcement active
to pay the bill.

Again the same bill was repeated on July 22nd, then i started
contacting the call centre frequently more than 30+ times by call and
5+ times via email, they always tell that your complaint is not seen
here, so then i ask them to open a new case and in every call i use to
describe the whole situation.

Now a gaing the August 22nd bill generated, where the bill has
generated on a pro-rata basis and that too on 299 plan, i never had
given consent to change the plan to 299 but it was 249.

Whenever I question the people at the call centre they just drop the
call, which really hurts me.

My demand:
1. Need to wave off my extra bill generated that the agreed plan of 249
2. Need compensation for wasting my valuable time running behind this case.

Complaint Summary:
Though i was forced to withstand with vodafone postpaid connection by
providing a less cost plan i.e 249, They didn’t change the plan and
received the bill for three terms with the previous 499  plan.
