Today(30 Aug, 2021), I raised a request to port from Vi to Airtel. I received a call from 8297331893.
Vi Care : Hi sir, I’m calling from Vi.
Me : yes …..
Vi Care : sir you raised a port request and are you willing to cancel the Vi services ?
Me : yes …..
Vi Care : Ok sir, I sent a message to you and if you are willing to cancel the Vi services just forward the message you received to 1900 and I’ll be waiting in the call ….
Me : Ok, Forwarded …..
Vi Care : Ok sir, Thankyou. Have a good day…..(3-4 secs later) Sir, please end the call from your side.
Me : ended the call.
Later I received a message “Your request to cancel porting of mobile no. ********** is accepted. Porting process for your number is cancelled. The UPC is now expired. A new UPC will need to be requested for re-submission of a new porting request. ?
