I, Rohit Kumar, customer of MSEDCL having consumer number 028790416751 with bill unit 0329 have been feeling very grieved with the very high electricity bill raised for the month of May,2020 & June’2020. MSEDCL is giving many explanations regarding the high bill raised during the month of May’2020 and June’2020 which is a corona period too and during this corona period, I am going with financial crisis too. MSEDCL has not physically taken the meter reading for the month of April, 2020 and submit me an average bill of Rs.460/- only. Thereafter, MSEDCL has raised the rate of electricity bill in the month of May, 2020 which is also a wrong decision in this corona crisis period to harass its customer. Now, MSEDCL deceitfully raised the amount of bill for the month of May, 2020 and June, 2020 in the name of adjustment of consumption for the period of March, 2020 and April, 2020 in which MSEDCL has not taken the meter reading. The point here is that MSEDCL has not taken the meter reading for March, 2020 and APril, 2020 and now making wrong adjustment of consumption made during these months with higher rates. However, without any proper justification MSEDCL is not relieving me from this high bill raised during this corona period.  It is kindly requested to peruse my case on merit and instruct MSEDCL to make me refund with interest for these high electricity bills raised during the month of May’2020 and June’2020. I am attaching the bills for the month of April, 2020, May’2020, June’2020 and the explanation given by the MSEDCL regarding higher bills raised during the month of May, 2020 and June’2020 for your kind perusal and further necessary action.
