Dear Sir/Mam,
I, Rajanikant Patani, Residing in Mumbai, recently got the bill for July month which was above Rs. 11,000. and the bills from february to June were from Rs 1800 to Rs 2100.
Amid, lockdown they have a argument that since all family members are at home we consume more electricity but for my family it really doesnt have any different situation pre lockdown and post lockdown as in my family I am retired so is my wife, and my daughhter in law is always at home with my 3 year old grandson. only my son who in normal case would have been in office for 6 hours of the day, does that mean that we all are consuming electrity 5 times more by just one person adding just six hours a day in the house from the family of five.
i request you to please look into the matter as soon as possible , firstly we dont think the amount of bill they have generated is at all legitmate and secondly, my son is only earning member of our family, working for a private company and having a oay cut of more then 60% and not sure of the future as well.
we cannot afford such a heavy electricty bill in such times
