I was supposed to return my newly bought laptop as it was faulty and the return was supposed to be on 24th Oct but it got cancelled on it’s own because of some verification problem that didn’t even involve me,so I had to wait till 28th Oct, next alloted day for return pick up,and the laptop got picked up.
Now the app said that I will get my refund in 3-5 working days,28th was Friday,so the working days were 31st Oct,1st,2nd,3rd and 4th Nov, today is 4th Nov and I called customer service and they said it’ll take another 3-5 working days to get your refund.
Now the problem is they don’t mention this beforehand that first 3-5 days are taken up by just the initiation of refund and after the initiation starts, it’ll take another 3-5 days, WHY NOT MENTION THIS IN THE BEGINING???
And the major issue is the customer service people of amazon,last night(3rd Nov night) I called the customer care and the guy said that if I don’t get my refund by the night of 3rd then I can call the customer service next day(4th) and tell them to initiate the refund manually and you will get your refund within the time of call. I did as he said and today (4th) the guy on customer care said there is no guarantee that you will get your refund right now,it will take another 3-5 days. FALSE INFORMATION!!!
