I took a loan of 21000 at the rate of 180 % per annum and I’m late by 10 days and the app people instead of using only the reference numbers given by me they are using all my contacts to defame me and harass me pls help

I was also going to take a loan from this Creditt+ app but before that I felt maybe I should check the internet in case they are also a scam like other apps. The UI seemed legit and in permissions also, they are only taking camera and location permission so how did they access your contacts?
Or did they change their permissions after all these reports?
While applying for the loan, we have to give 10 reference contacts. So are they harassing only those 10 people, or do they have access to the remaining complete contact list?
