Respected Sir/Madam,
I have for the transfer of a Jio mobile number into my name, which has been pending due to an address mismatch in the submitted documents.
My father, the registered owner of the Jio number, passed away. I have submitted the following documents multiple times at the Jio Service Centre in Manduwadih, Varanasi:
– My Aadhaar card
– My PAN card
Father’s Aadhaar card
– Father’s Death Certificate
– Father’s Driving Licence (used during original SIM issuance)
However, the service centre has refused to process the transfer, citing an address mismatch between the driving licence and Aadhaar. I have visited the centre on multiple occasions, but they have informed me that they cannot proceed as per “instructions from Mumbai” and have not provided an alternative resolution. My bank account, Aadhaar, Digilocker, PAN card, and other important documents are linked to this number.
