Subject: Urgent: Multiple Issues with Infinix GT10 Pro Order from Flipkart
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the recent order I placed on Flipkart for the Infinix GT10 Pro (Mirage Silver, 256 GB) phone on August 12, 2023. My order ID is [Order ID].
From the moment I received the package, I have encountered a series of distressing issues that have left me greatly disappointed in both the product and the service provided by Flipkart. I would like to bring to your attention the numerous complications I have faced:
1. Functional Defects: Upon unboxing the Infinix GT10 Pro, it became evident that the phone was not functioning correctly. The performance was far from acceptable, and I encountered various glitches and malfunctions that severely hindered my ability to use the device as intended.
2. Billing Discrepancy: Adding to my frustrations, the invoice I received alongside the phone displayed an incorrect billing amount. I had paid a sum of ₹20,048 for the device, but the accompanying bill indicated a mere ₹16,698. This disparity has added to my confusion and concern regarding the overall transaction.
3. Communication and Support Failure: In an attempt to rectify these issues, I have been in constant communication with Flipkart’s customer support. Regrettably, the assistance I have received thus far has been deeply unsatisfactory. Despite repeated assurances that the billing issue would be resolved, I have received no fewer than 5 to 10 incorrect bills. This repetitive and erroneous response from Flipkart’s support team has only heightened my frustration.
4. Service Center Dilemma: In pursuit of a solution, I visited one of Flipkart’s authorized service centers. While their initial attempts at addressing the phone’s malfunctions were promising, the problems resurfaced immediately after I returned home. After multiple attempts, they provided me with a DOA (Dead on Arrival) certificate and returned the phone, instructing me to wait for Flipkart’s intervention. Unfortunately, the expected resolution from Flipkart has yet to materialize.
5. Lack of Response and Resolution: Despite my persistent efforts to communicate my grievances, both Flipkart and the brand, Infinix, have failed to offer a satisfactory resolution. I am left with a malfunctioning phone, an incorrect bill, and a growing sense of frustration.
At this juncture, I find myself at a loss for an appropriate course of action. I am not seeking mere compensation; rather, I am requesting a complete refund of the amount I paid for the Infinix GT10 Pro. My confidence in Flipkart’s services has been severely undermined, and I believe that a refund is the only fair resolution to this ongoing and distressing experience.
Enclosed with this email, you will find a compilation of my communication with Flipkart’s customer support, as well as evidence of the billing discrepancy and the service center’s DOA certificate. I implore you to review this documentation and understand the extent of the challenges I have faced since making this purchase.
I am reaching out to you in the hope that you can provide the necessary assistance and intervention to help resolve this matter promptly.
