I am filing this complaint against Agaro (Universal Corporation Ltd.) regarding non-replacement/refund of a defective product.
I purchased an Agaro Lint Remover LR2007 from Amazon on 6th January 2026. The product stopped working within 3 days of purchase. I immediately registered Complaint No. 465452 with Agaro customer care, and the company initiated a replacement request.
The defective product was picked up from my address on 17th January 2026. However, despite the pickup being completed over one month ago, I have neither received the replacement product nor any refund.
I have contacted customer support multiple times, but every time I receive the same response: “We will pass the issue to the team.” No resolution, timeline, or written confirmation has been provided. This amounts to deficiency in service and unfair consumer practice, causing unnecessary mental harassment and inconvenience.
I request the Hon’ble Consumer Forum to:
Direct the company to immediately provide a replacement product OR
Process a full refund of the purchase amount without further delay.
Provide compensation for mental harassment and inconvenience caused.
I have attached copies of the invoice, complaint details, pickup confirmation, email communication, and product images/videos as evidence.
