I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against LazyPay, a financial services provider, for their unjust and negligent actions, which have caused financial loss and harm to my creditworthiness.

Description of Complaint:
On 02august, I was surprised to discover that LazyPay attempted to debit the outstanding amount from my bank account on 2nd August, one day prior to the agreed-upon payment date of 3rd August. As a result of insufficient funds in my account at that time, both LazyPay and my bank charged me a bounce fee, leading to financial inconvenience and hardship.

Unfair Charges Incurred:
a) LazyPay levied bounce charges on me due to their premature debit attempt, despite the agreed-upon payment date being 3rd August.
b) My bank also charged a separate bounce fee for the failed transaction initiated by LazyPay.

Negative Impact on Credit Score:
The incident caused by LazyPay’s erroneous actions resulted in a negative impact on my credit score. This, in turn, could potentially affect my ability to secure credit in the future, jeopardizing my financial standing.

Attempts to Resolve:
I have promptly contacted LazyPay’s customer support, providing all relevant details and requesting a refund of the unjust charges and compensation for the credit score damage. However, despite acknowledging their error, they have failed to provide a satisfactory resolution.

Relief Sought:
I request the following relief from the Consumer Court:
a) Refund of the unfair bounce charges levied by LazyPay.
b) Reimbursement of the charges levied by my bank due to the failed debit attempt.
c) Compensation for the negative impact on my credit score.
d) An assurance from LazyPay that such incidents will not recur in the future.
e) Appropriate punitive action against LazyPay for their negligent actions.

I have attached copies of all relevant documentation, including transaction details and communication with LazyPay’s customer support, for your perusal.

I sincerely request the Consumer Court’s intervention in this matter to ensure a fair and just resolution. I believe that the Consumer Court’s esteemed authority will help protect consumers’ rights and hold financial service providers accountable for their actions.

I request an urgent hearing in this case and an opportunity to present my case before the court. Please provide me with a date and time for the hearing, taking into consideration the urgency of the matter.
