Dear TRAI and Respected Government Authorities,
I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint regarding the persistent and unacceptable irregularities in telecom services provided by Jio in our region. Despite repeated disruptions in network connectivity, call drops, and data outages, there has been no meaningful resolution or communication from your end.
Every month there is no internet service available for minimum 2 to 3 days and Jio is charging for full month @699 +18%GST for Jio Postpaid Airfibre Plus (+91-2231909977) . It means Rs.699/30 = Rs.23.30 per day multiply by 2 days comes to Rs.46.60 from one user and imagine there are crores of user and Jio collecting crores of rupees from them. THIS IS WHITE COLLAR SCAM which is not highlighted by anyone. Why one should pay more for not using full 30 days. CAN ANY BODY JUSTIFY THIS???? These service failures have severely impacted daily operations, education, and emergency communications. What is even more concerning is the apparent indifference shown by both the service provider and the concerned government regulatory bodies. Any complaints which have been filed through official channels, yet they remain unacknowledged or unresolved or decision in favour of telecom company.
This negligence not only violates consumer rights but also undermines the trust placed in public infrastructure and governance. As a responsible citizen, I demand:
Immediate investigation into the root causes of these service disruptions.
Transparent communication regarding corrective measures and timelines.
Accountability from both the telecom provider and the regulatory authority for prolonged inaction.
If this issue is not addressed promptly, I will be compelled to escalate the matter through legal channels and public forums to ensure accountability and justice.
I hope this email serves as a wake-up call to prioritize the needs of the citizens you are meant to serve.
