Subject: Urgent Complaint Against Fraudulent Loan Disbursement and Harassment by Loan App
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against a mobile application named “Ruppee 112” (or a similar sounding name), which is offering instant personal loans through deceptive and illegal means.
On [mention the date], I explored a loan option through this app. After filling in my details, the app informed me that I was ineligible for the loan. However, to my surprise, a sum of ₹24,000 was suddenly disbursed into my bank account without my consent or any loan agreement being signed.
The repayment amount they are now demanding is ₹40,000 within just 25 days, which is equivalent to an interest rate of over 40%—a clear violation of legal lending norms in India. They falsely claim claim they charge only 1% daily interest, which is neither transparent nor compliant with RBI guidelines.
Furthermore, they collected my sensitive personal data, including my salary slip, and are now engaging in continuous harassment, threats, and mental torture to force repayment of this unfair and predatory loan.
This kind of behavior not only violates RBI’s Fair Practices Code but also falls under cybercrime and extortion.
I request you to kindly investigate this matter on priority and take strict legal action against the operators of this app. I am also attaching evidence including screenshots, bank transaction proofs, and communication logs (if needed) to support my case.
Please ensure that such fraudulent apps are banned and legal action is initiated to protect other unsuspecting users from being scammed.
