I am filing this complaint because I am receiving repeated harassment calls from a company named mPokket, even though I have never taken any loan from them and have no connection with their platform. I have never registered, never applied for any loan, and never shared any documents or personal information with mPokket.
Despite this, their representatives call me frequently and ask me about a loan account that does not belong to me. This is causing mental stress, disturbance, and fear about how my mobile number was obtained and misused.
To stop the harassment, I sent them an email requesting removal of my number from their system. Instead of resolving the issue, the company has asked me to provide “ownership proof” like an invoice or document, which is completely unreasonable because:
I am not their customer
I have never shared any documents
The documents they are asking for are sensitive in nature
There is no legal or logical reason to demand such proof from me
Their demand for sensitive documents feels unsafe and raises concerns about potential data misuse, privacy violation, and unauthorized access to my mobile number.
I believe mPokket has misused my mobile number without consent and is now asking for documents that have nothing to do with me. I am facing harassment, mental pressure, and fear of identity misuse.
I request the concerned authority to take action for:
Harassment through repeated unwanted calls
Misuse of my mobile number without consent
Asking for sensitive documents without valid reason
Potential breach of my personal information
Failure to stop calls even after a removal request
I request immediate intervention to ensure that:
The harassment calls stop
My mobile number is removed from their system
The company is investigated for possible data misuse
This is a serious matter of privacy violation and unauthorized use of my personal details.
