I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at the Huma Cinema in Kanjurmarg on September 5th.
On that day, I visited the cinema to watch the movie “LEO” and approached the box office to purchase two platinum tickets. The price for each platinum ticket was advertised as 170 Rs. However, to my surprise, the counter informed me that a combo offer for popcorn and Pepsi had been added by default to each ticket, which increased the ticket price to 250 Rs per ticket.
When I inquired about the justification for this additional charge, I asked if it was stated on the cinema’s official pricing information or any promotional materials. I was willing to pay the extra amount if it was a legitimate part of the ticket price. However, the counter staff refused to provide any such information and argued that I could only purchase tickets with this combo offer or book them online.
I found this experience to be both frustrating and misleading. As a customer, I believe that I have the right to understand the cost breakdown and see any additional offers clearly specified in advance. It is essential for businesses to be transparent about their pricing to ensure a fair and positive customer experience.
Therefore, I kindly request that Huma Cinema in Kanjurmarg review its ticket pricing policies and ensure that any additional offers are clearly communicated to customers before they make a purchase. This will help avoid any confusion or dissatisfaction among customers in the future.
I hope my concerns are taken into consideration and addressed promptly. I believe that providing clarity and transparency in pricing is in the best interest of both the cinema and its patrons.
