Dear Sir/ Ma’am,
On August 18 2021, I had reacharged my Tatasky account, through net banking with a sum of Rs. 3336/- to which I received a message from Tatasky saying that the transaction was unsuccessful and another message that my account shall be deactivated post midnight.
So I made another payment of the same amount. After that a message popped up saying that the account balance is now Rs. 6957/-. So both the transactions got processed due to a wrong message from their end.
I then made a call on their toll free number for a refund of one of the transactions (Rs. 3336/-). I was told that I will get a refund within 7-10 working days. I haven’t received it yet.
Since then no action has been taken inspite of I calling their helpline number multiple times and speaking at all levels. I am now feeling harassed.
On August 27, I got a call from their back end team and a senior executive Mr. Pramod told me that he will start the refund process but I will be charged 2.5% on the refundable amount (3336/-). Yesterday again I received a call from the same department with the same argument.
Any deduction in the refund is unlawful because it was not my fault. This has been a harassing experience and they are putting me through mental stress. Request you to help me regarding this issue. Thank you!
