Text of Complaint by Prabhakaran:

On buying tataplay new connection, every new user had the initial offer of free period upto 6 months but i didn’t got it. When I asked about it in customer care , they said I didn’t opt for the free offer. It should be their duty to provide the information about package, but instead they kept it hidden and the customer care support was rude.

The MAIN ISSUE now is, when opted for new connection the tataplay provided me with a free Amazon fire stick which I didn’t ask for . The one who came for installation said this is free for one month and if i want to continue using it i should pay something around 400 per month and if i fail to pay 400 i won’t be having any trouble other than the firestick won’t be working. Now I’ve been received a sms that I would fined a sum of 3000rs or lawful action of i don’t surrender the Amazon firestick which I’ve received it for free. I didn’t accept for any terms and conditions regarding the Amazon fire stick. I’m now scammed by tata play and threatened to pay 3000rs or I’ll be filed under law. So i kindly request you to help me out with this
