I, Pandey Piyush, am filing this complaint against Skullcandy India regarding an unfair handling of my recent order. I placed an order on October 20th, 2024 (Sunday), and attempted to cancel it within 24 hours, as per the company’s cancellation policy. However, Skullcandy’s customer service was unavailable on Sunday, leaving me unable to request a cancellation within the allowed time frame. Despite the company being closed on that day, they still dispatched my order on Sunday itself.
When I contacted Skullcandy’s customer support the next morning, on October 21st, 2024 (Monday), I was told that the order had already been dispatched and could not be canceled. This situation is completely unfair, as I had no way of requesting a cancellation when their support was offline, and they proceeded to dispatch the order without giving me a reasonable chance to cancel it.
This mishandling on Skullcandy’s part has caused inconvenience and financial loss for no fault of mine. I request the consumer authority to take action against Skullcandy India for this unfair practice and direct them to process the cancellation or return of the order immediately.
Relief Sought:
Immediate cancellation or return of the product.
Any additional compensation for the inconvenience caused.
I kindly request the concerned authorities to help resolve this matter at the earliest.
