Text of Complaint by Siddharth Singh:

I ordered Boat Rockerz 255 pro + from Flipkart on 22-09-2022. After only 10 months of use the product stopped working completely , it was not powering on. I carefully inspected the neckband for any physical damages, but to my surprise, there were none.
Since my product was still within the warranty period, I raised a claim on Boat’s official website and my claim process initiated with ticket number 35211830 on 12-07-2023. My product was picked up by Boat’s courier partner on 13-07-2023. The pickup person also inspected the product for any physical damages, but he did not find any. After that, he sealed the product in an envelope.
Three days later Boat sent a mail saying that my claim has been rejected on grounds of physical damage and they sent a test report which showed images of damaged wire. I was shocked as I handed the product to courier boy in perfect condition without even a scratch and now they sent images of their damaged product.
I called customer service of Boat and explained the issue then they asked me send to them a mail on their official mail address describing the problem with images of the product taken before shipping to support my claim that the product was not damaged. I sent them a mail as instructed to which they sent a reply that they have reviewed my case and said that warranty will not be provided since the product was damaged and they did not even consider the image of the product, sent by me, taken before shipping which clearly showed there was no damage on the product before and when I handed the product to the delivery boy.

  1. I also face similar issue with boats. I send neckband to boat pickup boy. They reject my claim and said I send wrong product

    1. Same with my smart watch I’ve given the original product to the courier partner but they sent me unknown metallic watch.
