My name is Sabyasachi Banerji.
I had booked a cab on 12 hours 120Km rental mode for Rs. 2619/- on Friday 5th November in Kolkata.
I travelled around 10 hours instaed of 12 hours and 317 Kms.
Hence, in addtion to Rs. 2619, i was charged Rs. 2351 for additinal 197 Kms (317- 120 km= 197 km) @ Rs. 11.93/Km rate. I was charged toll charges as appliable.
The problem starts after that. They charge something called Convenience Fee of Rs. 1400 for exceeding the base distance of 120 Km. This is absurd!
I complianed that i should not be charged this convenience fee for the above reason, as i have already paid the additional amount of Rs. 2351 for the additional distance of 197 Km.
I should be charged only for that part for which i am liable to pay. But they didn’t listen to it and forced me to pay this unfair convenience fee as well.
