I was using Paytm postpaid and I was getting calls from collection department Monday to Sunday. Even on Saturday and Sunday I was getting calls back to back. According to the RBI rules customers are not suppose to get calls on Sunday.
Secondly I paid my bill cause the agent told me that my Paytm postpaid will get activated within 30 minutes. They gave me the guarantee that it will get activated.
After making the payment through online link sent to my WhatsApp number. The agent stopped picking my calls and replying to my messages.
While I was making the payment the senior agent from paytm postpaid collection department told me that when I make the payment they will activate my Paytm postpaid account.
This is highly unprofessional and unethical way of collecting debts. Unfair trade practices.
They waived off my late fees and after 1 hour when I opened my account it was still showing pending amount. The same amount that they promised to waive “ Late Fees”.
I was late in making my payment but it was due to financial difficulties I was not on time. I did pay the bill.
Then now no one picking up the calls or replying.
