I had placed an Order on Amazon.in online order ref# 405-5968529-6689923 for item
DrinkPure Thread Candle 9″ Pre Filter, on 20 Sept 2020. When the item didnt arrive even after 2 weeks, I chatted with an Amazon agent on 5th Oct, and I was told that the Order was rescheduled for delivery, and that I would get it by 7 Oct. Nothing happened. Today is the 21st Oct, and I chatted with another Amazon Agent, who said the Tracking Info was not available after 5 Oct. If that was the case, they should have contacted me. They were quiet until I contacted them. I contacted them 3 times, and never did they contact me even once!
This is disgusting, because due to covid situation, they collect the payment in advance, and they give a damn to the customer’s interests. They respond only when contacted by the customer. This practice is unethical and undesirable. They must be responsible until the item ordered id delivered to the customer.
Disgusted, I asked them to cancel the Order and refund the proceeds fully back to my account. They have confirmed compliance. But the point is my loss of time. My Water Purifier has been down for well over a month, and I needed the Pre-filter ordered to fix it, and after waiting for more than a month, they simply and bluntly ask me to take a refund. Shouldnt they have some obligation to a customer?
