I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction regarding an unauthorized deduction from my Kotak bank account. On 7th Aug 2023, an amount of Rs 187.15 was deducted from my account without my consent or knowledge. The transaction details mention the recipient as “Amazon India Cybs Si.”
I would like to bring to your attention that I have not initiated any transaction with Amazon India Cybs Si on the mentioned date or for the stated amount. I have reviewed my recent transactions thoroughly, and there is no record of any purchase or agreement that justifies this deduction. This unauthorized deduction has caused significant inconvenience to me, and I trust that your bank will take swift action to rectify the situation.
I kindly request that you promptly investigate this matter and refund the deducted amount of Rs 187.15 back to my account as soon as possible. I also request that you provide me with a detailed explanation of the circumstances surrounding this unauthorized transaction, as well as the steps you have taken to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
I take the security of my bank account very seriously and find it distressing that such unauthorized transactions can occur without any notification or verification. I urge you to prioritize the resolution of this issue to restore my confidence in the security and integrity of your banking services.
I have attached a copy of my bank statement highlighting the unauthorized deduction for your reference. Please acknowledge the receipt of this complaint and provide me with a timeline for when I can expect the resolution of this matter.
