I received a text message saying that my family members recharge is over but I ignored this and thought this a technical glitch , I then checked MyJio app and found there are 3 phone numbers linked to my account and I am not aware about them at all !
I emailed Jio they said the numbers can be unlinked from app and they cannot do it which was not true , I emailed again they asked for details which I provided and they asked me check with my Family if I have given them any numbers but I had already checked on true caller and I am unaware about the numbers so I emailed them back .
I was assured that they will get the numbers unlinked from my Aadhar update by 05/11/2020 23:16.
I emailed them back as there was no response and the numbers were still linked but they have now asked me to wait until 07-11-2020 23:16.
I checked the service request number SR000012RTBC and cannot find any details about the complait , the app says no complaint raised.
I think they are deliberately delaying this and I am concerned as my Aadhar was used illegally to provide numbers to unknown people.
I have not been given any information as to who used my aadhar and if they are taking action against the distributor / retailer.
- The concern is on the App it also said that someone had my number linked to their profile and they can manage my Jio account !
