I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Reliance Jio’s service following my online purchase of a SIM card on [insert your order date]. On that date, I paid ₹999 for a new SIM, with the explicit promise of delivery within a few hours. As of today, April 4, 2025—two full days later—I have yet to receive it, despite exhaustive efforts to resolve the issue. This is not merely an inconvenience; it is a failure of service that has left me stranded, as my current prepaid plan expires tonight, rendering my ported number unusable for calls, data, or any communication.
After multiple calls to Jio’s customer care (1800-889-9999), I was finally provided with the contact number of the assigned delivery agent. Upon reaching him, he assured me the SIM would be delivered by evening. When I followed up later, he claimed he was now on leave and postponed delivery to the next day. Frustrated, I offered to collect the SIM myself from a nearby Jio store to avoid further delay. He agreed, yet when I arrived, the store staff refused to release it, stating only the assigned agent could provide it—a policy as absurd as it is unhelpful.
Determined to resolve this, I requested to wait at the store for the agent, only to be denied again. I then spoke to the store manager via phone, who reiterated that delivery would occur “by tomorrow, 10 AM,” offering no immediate solution. This rigid stance is unacceptable, especially given the urgency: my current SIM, ported to Jio’s network, will expire tonight, leaving me without service despite my payment and proactive attempts to rectify the situation.
Jio’s repeated delays, unaccountable delivery personnel, and inflexible store policies have caused significant distress and financial loss. I demand immediate action—either expedite the SIM delivery today or authorize the store to release it—along with compensation for this ordeal. My order number is NO00014ONDMU, and I expect a resolution before my service lapses tonight. Jio’s failure to honor its commitments reflects poorly on its reputation and customer trust
