I purchase an amazon alexa echo device on 28th May. I was not satisfied with the sound quality and as per their return policy, product can be returned for full refund within 10 days of purchase if one is not satisfied with device performance. I opened a return request on 4th June 2022 and the return window was open till 8th June 2022. Return got cancelled for Amazon’s side. I requested the return again on 5th. Same thing happened. I contacted the customer service next. They said not to worry and I will definitely get a refund and then they scheduled the pickup for next day. Return again got canceled from Amazon’s side. I contacted customer service again and same thing happened again the next day. The next time I contacted the customer service, they said that the return window has closed so they cannot help me. On requesting a call, one of the CS leads explained to me that it is the reason that I have given for return which is not in accordance with return policy. I have screenshot of chats of amazon customer service agents stating the policy and what will happen If I had a request for return opened before the return window closed and return got cancelled due to no fault of mine. Attaching the same.
I want to return the item and get the refund.
