Hi Sir/Madam,
I’m having the Airtel Postpaid family pack Rs.999/- connection for me and my family. I reside in 1B, Tower 7, Vijay Shanthi Lotus pond apartment, OMR road,
Kelambakkam, Chennai -603103.
On February 15th 2021, I went to Kancheepuram where I lost my carrier signal and unable to make/receive call in my SIM but once I came back to Chennai, I was able to do so. On February 18th, 2021, I travelled to Madurai and again lost my connection with no tower (signal – carrier forbidden error). They said my SIM got corrupted and then I bought a new Airtel postpaid SIM card from Airtel store at Simmakal, Madurai and waited for 4 hours to get activated. Finally my SIM got activated on 19th Feb,2021 but even after that I was not able receive an incoming calls from any other numbers. I tried checking with customer care but an automated 121 voice directed me to lodge a complaint in Airtel Thanks app and dropped the call. Airtel Thanks App failed to diagnosis the issue and I was not able to lodge a complaint there too, so I tried with my parents number (9629080573) and it lodged a complaint for my parent number instead of mine via IVR. Then after couple of days, I got connected to Airtel 121 executive and raised a compliant on 20th February, 2021 and they said the closure date as 27th February, 2021 and then extended to 03rd March,20221. Even now I was not able to receive an incoming call. I’m totally frustrated and getting many escalation in my work also missing other important calls.
For your kind information, I have an active mobile connection with no bill payment due, enabled roaming, switched the carrier manually/automatic, tried connection with 2G/3G/4G, enabled VOLTE, rebooted & factory reset all settings in my mobile, my mobile software is update to date and even tried with different sim slot and other mobiles but I ended up with no incoming calls in all the above scenarios.
I sincerely request you to lodge a complaint and help me to sort out this issue from the Airtel Internet Service Provider and to get my connection back.
