My Acer Iconia Tab A1-810 supports only Wireless channels 1 to 12. I have been using this tab for more than 6 years and connecting well to BSNL broadband using DLink modem which allows me to select any wireless channel from 1 to 12. But with the Jio Giga Fiber modem, the wireless channel is fixed at 13 and I am unable to connect to Jio Broadband from by Acer tab. I raised complaint regarding this to JioFiberCare@Jio.com and they replied that it is not possible to change Wireless channel in the Jio Fiber modem. Instead of replacing the Jio modem, they are asking me to replace my Acer tab.
I told them that I am planning to surrender my Jio Fiber connection at end of 3 month preview period and they gladly accepted it
