03/18/22 I received a charge for $60 on my cashapp account and saw it was from Ubereats and I had placed no such order. I immediately contacted customer service and told them and gave my card info and they said my card details were on someone else’s account and even though I asked them repeatedly to cancel the order immediately; they told me the case would have to be escalated to another department. 4 days later I have messaged 50+ times having to repeat the same information and because I know who the person is (someone I used to be roommates with but haven’t spoken in 2 years because he’s stolen many other things as well) they won’t refund the charge. They reply with the same bullshit answer over and over and keep saying there is a link between us which, yeah we lived together over 2 years ago but, since then I have not placed an order with Uber eats and as far as I know this is the first time he’s used my card to place an order. Which I’m not even sure how he was able to save my card and use it 2 years later without inputting at least a security code or something when the card has my name on it.
