In a freelancer website Truelancer I came across a typing job. The company name was Hyvebooks and they claimed to be based in the US. They contacted me through telegram via a person name Angela Wendy and sent the work need to be done. 70 pages in 7 days and with a payment of 700$. I completed the typing work and sent it to them via email. Then they asked me to submit bank details for my payment. After that I received an email asking me to contact a person named Patrick Wails and that as they do transfer it from a bank from the US I need to pay transferring amount of 10$ (860 INR) also provide my nationality proof . Over telegram I was provided with a gpay number to which I paid the amount. Then after that even after repeated text messages I have tried to contact them, but they are not responding and i even i mailed and lodged a complaint with Hyve books, but has still not received my payment. But Then I contacted the number to whom I paid the amount in gpay. He said that he operates independently as a cryto currency converter, and that he has already sent the money . He received a request from an app. He has given me screenshots. He then even mentioned that these are a part of a big scam .
