I recharged one ‘annual’ validity Jio plan in December 2019. However the recharge did not show as successfully done but money was debited from bank a/c. So after couple of minutes we did a 2nd annual validity recharge (same plan) on the same number. Later it showed that both recharges were successful which was strange (as one should have been refunded). So we called customer care and they clearly said that yes both recharges were in and that ‘2nd one will be activated only after the 1st one expires after a year’. Later while accidentally checking the Jio app we saw that both plans are running ‘simultaneously’ and expiring a couple of minutes apart on the same day. We were really surprised because Jio clearly stated otherwise.

When we mailed Jio Care they came back with the reason that the 2nd plan was indeed queued after the 1st expires but the customer has manually activated the 2nd one also which Jio cannot reverse hence both plans will expire on the same day in just 1 year.

Very simple question: What happened to the 2 years validity? And the associated money?

Absolutely illogical. But Jio is giving excuse after excuse but no justification or solution.

Our entire 1 year plan and money are gone. Request urgent help and intervention in this regard. Thanks
