I had bought an extended warranty of 2 years for my VU Pixelight TV in March 2020, for Rs.1930. Last month (July 2021) my TV developed a white flickering strip at the bottom while playing HDR content. I raised a complaint, and they said I will get someone to come to check the product soon.
This is what happened after that-
-On 2nd August, the service person came to check on the panel. He said he will take it for repair.
– On 5th August, 2 of the service people came to pick up the TV. They took the TV and said it will take a week to repair and return.
– On 7th August, the TV was returned to us, and the service person claimed it has been repaired. It was not, the TV was left with the same problem that I had raised the warranty for.
I have been constantly mailing them, asking them to fix the problem. And all they keep writing is “We would like to inform you that your TV under panel repair”.
What panel ? The one which is right now at my house ? Which they returned ?
This company is of deplorable ethics and literal conmanship. Looking through all their complaints online, they just use the platform to upsell their extended warranty packages to users, but never provide any service – look at various review sites, facebook, even consumer complaints.
I humbly and sincerely request this company be brought to action and charged with cheating customers and all the people they have subjected to harassment be suitably redressed.
