Text of Complaint by Dinesh Kumar:

I am writing this complaint to formally raise a grievance against TCL India and Flipkart India regarding a defective (Dead on Arrival – DOA) television that I purchased, and the complete lack of cooperation and resolution from both parties.
Details of the Complaint:

I purchased a TCL television through Flipkart on [Insert Purchase Date]. Upon delivery and installation, the product was found to be non-functional from the start (DOA).

A complaint was raised with TCL customer support. TCL acknowledged the issue and informed me that the DOA status and replacement request had been approved.

However, they failed to provide any official documentation or job sheet confirming the same.

When I approached Flipkart to process the replacement, they clearly stated that they require this documentation from TCL to proceed.

Despite multiple follow-ups with both TCL and Flipkart, neither has taken accountability, and I have been constantly redirected from one to the other without any resolution.

TCL has not issued any document or arranged a replacement, and Flipkart refuses to act without it, effectively leaving me without a functional product and no clear path to resolution.

Relief Sought:

I respectfully request the Hon’ble Forum to direct the concerned parties to:

Immediately issue a replacement for the defective television, or provide a full refund.

Provide the necessary documentation/job sheet confirming the DOA approval.

Compensate me for the mental harassment, inconvenience, and time wasted in dealing with the non-cooperation from both parties.
