I had come to native for two weeks. So I have planned to replay on Airtel sim network to perform my office tasks. When I connected the system, I experienced a very poor connectivity. I have several time worked from my native earlier, but I didn’t experience such low connectivity.
So immediately I called the customer care. The executive responded to resolve the issue in 15 days.
With several explanation of the situation, the executive told he would try to resolve in 2 to 3 days. The connectivity has become worse, so I called the customer care after 4 days. An executive told that they are working on the tower near by city home address. I was wondering, despite me telling my current location, they are least bothered to note on the details we said and working on different address.
Further explaining, the executive informed that within 4 hours a technician would call going to the nearest tower. There was no call.
After two days I once again called the customer care executive. She told as per protocol it would take 15 days to resolve the issue. I raised complained to Airtel via email.
Now a senior executive called me. She told, sorry for the issue, but it would take 15 days to resolve the issue from the day of ticket.
I pleaded if there is any option to escalate and resolve soon. No way..
In fact, the main office of Airtel is just 10 km from my house. If really the company cares the customer, they would have send a technician immediately near the tower to check the frequency.
Finally a reply email came stating that Airtel would update on the issue by 30 Jul 20201. that is exactly 15 days from the date of ticket. Still I am not sure on the solution part.
