I was booking tickets for 5 people from “Delhi to Leh” on the 25th of May through “Wego.com”. The site took us to cheapest flight booking options on the website “Tripodeal”. While making the payment on Tripodeal.com it showed a total of Rs. 46k around. The site showed 30-60 mins of hault to confirm the booking. We waited to see if the confirmation of booking is received after the payment. However, we received a call after 10 mins from a representative in Tripodeal.com stating paying extra payment of Rs. 960 per person. The representative was trying to convince us to make the extra payment, resulting cancellation of tickets if unpaid. This is a severe case of hiding information from consumer at the time of booking and charging extra money without consumer information and concent.
