Text of Complaint by Bharathi:

I have booked a ticket from Bangalore to Mumbai on 16th June 2022, in the name of Sudhirram rao @ the web site ‘https://www.travolook.in/’ the ticket was booked, and reference number is 946270723 amount was deducted from my account Rs. 5142/- and after 10 mins they gave a call and said that the ticket is cancelled and refund is initiated. but till date they have not refunded the amount. Since it is already two months, whenever I call customer care they will say 7 working days we will refund but there is no refund till date.

Please advice us how to contact this consumer court further , so many are in loss of money because of this travlook website. sir, please close this website and punish them in court of law

  1. You should raise a chargeback dispute immediately. Any customer who does an online transaction can claim a refund of the charged amount from the payment gateway up to a certain period of time. Chargeback is the term used for such a claim request. The payment gateway will block the payment to the fraudulent vendor and return the money to the customer if fraud is proved.     1. I am also facing the same problem with travolook and their customer care guys Keep saying “it is in the process”.
      You are saying about “specific payment gateway” so do we need to connect with bank or what?
      Please suggest.

    Please assist me how to approach the payment gateway and demand for refund.
    I have done the payment via HDFC bank online transfer.

  3. I followed the link and submitted the form but it say before 60 days of the transaction it was suppose to be approached.

    So now what is the next process to be followed to get the money back

  4. I have checked with my relationship manager in HDFC, he is saying i need to complaint in cyber crime, with all the documents because the payment has be done with my knowledge and hence bank can’t do the charge back.

    So no other process, today also i called they are repeating the same within 7 working days you will get madam.
    please give us a solution or pls ban this website atleast others will not fall on this scam.
