I traveled back to my country with 3 others and bought tickets on Traveloka because, I searched the value of their points which was: 1 point =100vnd which seemed reasonable. I bought 3 return tickets and 1 one-way ticket as my wife was staying longer for her friend’s wedding. Adding to that I also purchased a flight and return flight from Vietnam to Cambodia as I didn’t get my visa on time. This all earned me a total of 207,253 points which would’ve equaled to 20,725,300 vnd which is about 5,000,000vnd more than a ticket for my wife to get back to Vietnam and we’ve been counting on those points for a flight for my wife as we didn’t have enough in our budget for another ticket. This is criminal behavior. I did research on the points and all of a sudden they are worth 100X less than they advertise and the app still says it’s 100vnd per point. I’d love to sue them for this but I don’t know if it’s worth it.
