I have booked 4 bus tickets of Sri Krishna Travels (to travel from Hyderabad to chilakakuripet) on paytm platform on 31 May 2024.
Details of tickets:
Travels: Sri Krishna Travels
Date tickets booked: 31 may 2024
Date of journey: 1 June 2021
Type of seats booked: 2 sleepers, Rs.1050 each and two semi sleepers Rs.735 each
Total amount paid: Rs.3545 (bus fare: 3400 + tax: 170 – paytm discount: 25 = 3545)
I can share the transaction proof if required.
Due to some personal reasons, I had to cancel all the tickets before the travel. According to the ticket cancellation policy set by paytm, I was eligible for 90% of refund at the time i tried to cancel the tickets.
However, when i tried to cancel tickets, paytm is unresponsive showing an error ‘ unable to cancel the tickets”.
After multiple attempts, I lodged a ticket on paytm. I received a call a while later from paytm, telling me that they will work on it and get my refund initiated with in a week. They also mentioned, since its because of app issue that i am unable to cancel the tickets with in time. They are responsible for it and will get my refund initiated without any problem.
Even after a month, I did not get any update or call from paytm.
Without any further explanation or call, they simply closed my ticket without providing refund. They mentioned, Bus operator denied the refund request.
Why should I suffer a loss because of a fault in paytm app, when they clearly mentioned in the call that they would refund my money.
