I purchased a flight ticket back in March, through the airline website on 3/8/21 which led me to Travelgenio site to complete the payment. A few days after I was informed by travelgenio that the flight got canceled.
I was given the option to postpone the flight to a few days after, which didn’t work for me, or request a refund.
I proceeded requesting a refund from the website of travel genio. I never got a refund, Travelgenio is avoiding me completely, hanging up in my face when I ask what the status is, claiming it would take between 12-14 weeks, in the meantime it has been 6 months, and they keep giving me the excuse that they never got my money back from the airline, I called the airline, and they told me they never got a request for refund! More than that, they never got paid from Travelgenio!!!
Travel genio stole 1100$ from me.
And keep avoiding from refunding me.
I paid for NOTHING..
I got scammed by travel genio.
