riting to you as a last resort as the Travel Agent is not responding to any emails or calls .
We had booked an all-inclusive holiday package with Online Trip Global ( www.onlinetripglobal.com) through their representatives Rohit & Muskaan – Contact No.s 8448221478/ 9650750178 / 8882753277/ 8373953673, Email Id: booking.onlinetripglobal.com/ [email protected]/ [email protected] on September 1, 2022 for Amritsar at a total cost of INR 152950.
We were asked to pay the full flight charges and 50% of the landing charges in advance which was duly transferred on September 1, 2022 amounting to INR127950
However, within ten minutes of receiving this amount, received a call asking for INR 25000 claiming that the package cost had been revised. On asking them how the charges had increased in 10 minutes,
Mr. Rohit responded the next day stating that the package cost had again gone up by INR 50000. Sensing fraud, we refused to pay an additional amount.
They reverted stating that either we pay the additional amount or initiate cancellation from our side. They stated that the flight tickets were booked, hence we have to pay the extra amount.
As per their Company policy. if the cancellation is initiated by them they are required to pay 100% of the amount hence they were harassing us asking us to either pay additional amount or send a cancellation request.
As the cancellation was suggested by them, we asked them to deduct the flight charges which they claimed to have booked for INR 69124( instead of the 65000 which was earlier confirmed) from the amount already paid to them and refund the balance of INR 65223.
After continuous follow up, they have reverted claiming that there would be a service tax of 5% which will be deducted amounting to INR 6397 despite the cancellation being from their side and confirmed refund of INR58826.
Their cancellation policy clearly states a refund timeline, if cancelled from their side as 10-25 days but they stated 21-50 working days.
They confirmed over mail that the refund would be credited by November 25, 2022.
On November 25, 2022, they wrote a mail stating that they will only refund INR 10000.
When called on November 26, 27th , 28th and 29th , they stated that they would not pay any amount as they have suffered loss because of our complaint.
Post numerous follow ups, received INR 20000 ON January 4, 2023 and they are now not responding for the balance INR 38826.
Requesting you to please help us get the refund of INR 38826.
There are numerous complaints against this travel agent registered online where they follow the same method of cheating the general public..They continue to cheat even today.
Registered a complaint in the online consumer portal but the travel agent is not responding to them as well.
They have now created one more new website and continue to cheat.
Seeking your intervention in helping us get the refund and requesting you to please put an end to such fraudsters who are cheating many people..
