Text of Complaint by Ganesan:

Dear all ,

I am Mrs. Bhuvana sasse writing on behalf of Mr S Ganesan my father who lives at Ramamurthy nagar , Bangalore.

I would like to bring to your notice the turn of events as follows:

  1. The above mentioned number is a very old number we have been using since many years .
  2. The above mentioned number is owned by my sister Mrs Akila Ganesan who is currently at Dubai. My dad continued to use the number for all official purposes. ( Banks, Aadhaar , Pan etc….and much more).
  3. In the mid September 2019 the SIM card was damaged for reasons unknown, when my dad tried to contact the customer care he was advised to bring an authorized letter from my sister to do the transfer.
  4. In a matter of 15 days my sister had sent the letter duly signed by her from Dubai. Upon reaching the customer care center his request for transfer was declined stating that my sister should come in person.
  5. Due to some personal reasons we could didn’t follow up.
  6. In early December 2019 my sister had called the customer care once again for the transfer and my dad was issued a duplicate SIM in my presence too ( we had shown all the communication and id proof). We were advised that the number will be activated and we will have to come back to submit the documents upon receiving a confirmation call after the SIM is activated .

7.We waited till 18th Jan 2020 for the call assuming Christmas , New year and other festivities could have delayed the process.

  1. On 20thJan 2020 when my dad reached the center he was told it was due to technical snag it did not happen but come back on 23rdto meet the branch manager to resolve the issue.
  2. On 23rdJan 2020 when he met the branch manager he was once again given a new DUPLICATE SIM, was asked come back on 27thfor submission of documents.
  3. On 28thJan 2020 to our dismay when my dad met the manager he too declined stating that my sister should come in person. The ordeal continues………..

I would like to bring to your notice it is not right to make an elderly person 70 years of age run from pillar to post waiting for hours at your center with false assurances.

We have actually shown all our id proof (all our Aadhaar card) bears the same number. We cannot afford to lose the above mentioned number.

Kindly advice . Assist us to resolve the issue .

Advice us if we need to get in touch with any other higher officials.

Regards,

Bhuvana sasse
